Heath Ceramics has opened a gallery, The Boiler Room, and is hosting a Stan Bitters show. The ceramist hasn't had a one-person show in decades - and its worth the wait. See more HERE. No home should be without his birdhouse!

Not too often does a 'long lost' project by an any architect unveil itself on the real estate market - especially a John Lautner design. Lautner's 1948 Jules Salkin Residence in Echo Park has been listed for sale, for $999K, for the first time in 65 years since it was completed. Learn more HERE.

Designer Massimo Vignellis passed away recently. You can read a nice piece about him published by the Smithsonian HERE. A new film about the Vignellis was released recently. Learn more about the film HERE.

While up in Seattle recently, I learned that on June 19th the Seattle Art Museum will host a new exhibition ‘Modernism in the Pacific Northwest: The Mythic and The Mystica.’  The show profiles Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, Kenneth Callahan, and Guy Anderson who became known as the Northwest School of modern art. The show runs through September – so get up there to see it! Learn more HERE.

If you are heading out to England, don't miss the new show, Body & Void at the Henry Moore Foundation. Learn more HERE.

Until the Lynn Fayman online archive is posted, you can view a few more images by the San Diego photographer HERE.
