While up in Seattle recently, I learned that on June 19th the Seattle Art Museum will host a new exhibition ‘Modernism in the Pacific Northwest: The Mythic and The Mystica.’ The show profiles Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, Kenneth Callahan, and Guy Anderson who became known as the Northwest School of modern art.
