Old Town
Office
Building (1962)
Designed by Homer Delawie
2827 Presidio Drive
Comments: Simple structure utilizes courtyard and large glass areas
to take advantage of surrounding greenery. Delawie’s architecture
firm (now Delawie, Wilkes, Rodrigues, Barker & Bretton Associates
AIA) still operates from this location. Like many of his other designs,
this building makes use of “dynamic arrangements of cubic volumes”
sheathed by a wood exterior.
