Eugene Herbert Cloyes
Architect | 1921 - 2006Living on Lugano Lane in Del Mar, Eugene Cloyes worked in partnership with Raymond Jung from the latter's home office at 631 Amphitheatre Drive.
Eugene “Gene” Cloyes was born in Santa Ana on August 22, 1921 and secured his Bachelors of Architecture from USC in 1951.
He started working with architect Raymond Jung circa 1953 and the two launched the partnership Jung & Cloyes, AIA, Architects somewhere between 1953-1958. Located in Ray Jung’s home office at 631 Amphitheater Drive, the office produced designs for schools and other municipal buildings as well as custom homes.
