George Lykos
Architect | 1911 - 2001George Lykos was born in Boston and secured his Bachelor’s of Architecture in 1935 and his Masters in 1936 both from MIT. Following graduation he served a fellowship travelling Europe (1936). He and Sidney Ingram Goldhammer organized the firm Lykos & Goldhammer Architecture & Engineering in 1942 and joined the San Diego Chapter of the AIA in 1947.

He and Sidney Ingram Goldhammer organized the firm Lykos & Goldhammer Architecture & Engineering in 1942 and joined the San Diego Chapter of the AIA in 1947. As the firm grew they left their Spreckels Building offices moving to 566 Mission Valley Center West.
