Robert D. Ferris

Following service in the US Navy between 1943-45, Robert Ferris secured his BA in Architecture and launched the architecture practice Robert D. Ferris Inc.

Born in Bishop, California on July 28, 1926, Robert Ferris served in the US Navy between 1943-45. He secured his BA in Architecture in 1950 and soon thereafter worked as Project Architect for Herluf Brydegaard and Job Captain for Sam W. Hamill’s office.

Robert Ferris joined the AIA, San Diego Chapter in 1960 while running Robert D. Ferris Inc at 1502 6th Avenue.
